It's over 100 degrees outside and though I'm feeling the heat, I slip my jacket on to hide the sweat that seems to pour from my armpits down the full length of my torso.  "Why didn't I just wear a swimsuit," I think with exasperation.  I walk slowly to the cafeteria to buy my lunch, careful not to make the spray of sweat that flings off my flip flops with every step too pronounced.  I'm silently cursing myself for deciding to wear sandals instead of sneakers...

Sleep deprivation is a serious problem - here is a list of 10 reasons why from an article published by WebMD: 1. Sleepiness Causes Accidents 2. Sleep Loss Dumbs You Down 3. Sleep Deprivation Can Lead to Serious Health Problems 4. Lack of Sleep Kills Sex Drive 5. Sleepiness is Depressing 6....

365 Days of Light on Yoga.  When I started out on this this Year-long journey, I had no idea what I was in for.  I had no idea how HARD it would be to complete.  But, I DID know it would be a life altering experience. The first half of this year long journey was spent at my old home in Stockton where I taught yoga at a lovely little studio, Vinyasa Flow Yoga, and worked the rest of the time at a Japanese food restaurant called Cocoro.  Every month and a half I would drive to Los Angeles to complete a 500 Hour Teacher Training program with my...
